Diane Day created this website to honor her father Gerald Day's service on the USS Savage (DE-386.) She developed and maintained the site until her death on January 10, 2023. The USS Savage Reunion Association has accepted responsibility for continued maintenance of the website, and has appointed Tom Hendricks as its new webmaster.
